Market to your targeted niche

Once you have developed a tightly focused target niche you need to begin marketing to that niche. This will be made much easier  if you have selected a niche topic in which you have an interest. This niche business will be with you for a long time, and it is much easier to market something in which you do have a genuine interest.

Perform a search and find forums that center around your niche. Become involved in this community and post comments that are of benefit to other users. Read the guidelines, and if allowed, attach your signature.

Develop a newsletter related to your niche, offer something free for signup or maybe a discount. A newsletter will allow you to keep in contact with your niche visitors and provide tips, content and further offers. It will also prompt a percentage to return to your niche website in the future.

Add a tell-a-friend feature to your niche website. Your visitors will probably have friends who are also interested in your niche.

Search for directories specifically related to your niche and submit your website. List also in general directories, just be sure to get added to the right category. Use anchor text in your listings that focus on your main niche keywords.

Write and submit articles related to your niche topic to article banks. This will bring you some traffic, but more importantly, it will bring you one way links and help in your search engine placement.

Add new content to your niche website on a regular basis. This not only gives your visitors a reason to return, but it will also bring the spiders back and help you in the search engines.

Look for newsletters related to your niche. Submit articles to them. You might also work out a joint venture where you can each promote through the other's niche newsletter.
