When working with the search engines there are some organic SEO strategies that it is best to  observe. And working with the search engines is a better way to look at the process, as opposed to fighting them.

Organic SEO strategy #1

As you are building your site you probably have a goal about what you want to feature on your website and how big you would like it to be. Use some organic strategy in terms of SEO. Plan first to build some of the basic pages. Build about twenty or thirty pages and in such a way that the pages make sense in relation to one another. This is the beginning of your organic SEO strategy.

Organic SEO simply means that you build and promote your site in a natural way, rather than suddenly upload a massive website all at once. Most websites that have stood the test of time and been successful have developed over time. The search engines will look upon you more favorably if you build a step at a time.

Once you have these basic pages built, upload them, and then keep building and adding pages a few at a time until you have your site pretty well built up according to your plan. This SEO strategy will be of benefit in several ways. While you continue to build, you have a basic site and can begin collecting links. The other benefit is, that by adding pages a little at a time you are offering new spider food for the search engines to keep them coming back.

Organic SEO strategy # 2

When you begin your link campaign use organic SEO strategy # 2 and take it easy. What I mean by that is don't do anything like go out and get hundreds of links all at once. Begin gradually and keep building your links. Yes, you do need a lot of links. Some buy links, and you can do that if you use judgement.

If you buy links, don't get caught up in programs that will suddenly link you to 10,000 sites or those that will sell you links on 700 pages of the same site. This is not a good organic SEO strategy, and the search engines will see it for what it is, and you will be in hot water.

Add the snowball effect to your SEO strategies. A snowball is small at first, but gets big faster as time goes on. Use this same theory in acquiring links. Start slow and pick up speed as you go along.

Good SEO strategies

Add good SEO elements as you are building your pages, this will lay the foundation. Build and publish the core of your website, and make sure it is functional. Do not put up an under construction sign. Then keep adding in an organic way, and acquiring links.

Realize that even when you think your site is done, it won't be. There will always be some changes or updating to be done. That too is part of organic SEO.
