XsitePro

XsitePro is a valuable tool when you are building websites and you don't want to bother with writing all the code yourself, or if you don't know how to write code.

The XsitePro features I find the most valuable are:

1. Navigation- I don't have to worry about updating navigation when I add or delete pages. XsitePro takes care of it automatically.


2. Sitemaps-I don't have to create sitemaps. I simply designate that I want an html sitemap, and a google sitemap,  and XsitePro takes care of it for me. When I make changes to my website, XsitePro updates the sitemaps for me.

3. Navigation location-If I have set up my navigation to be on the left, and later decide that I want it on the right, I go to page layout, make the correction once, and XsitePro moves the navigation for all my pages.

4. Adsense-just fill in your publisher ID once. When you want an adsense block on your page, you just right click, select the size and shape, and the color scheme. If you want it to match your page with no borders there is that option. Just click okay and the adsense block is placed where you designated.

5. Adding code-When you want to add code to your page for any number of reasons, you can either use the snippets feature or the scripts feature. Simply add the code in the feature, and when you want it Xsitepro places it where you want.

6. Linking to another page in your site-Just right click, select the link and it's done.

7. Adsense placement or size change-You think a different size or shape or color scheme would give better results. Just select and cut the ad. Right click again wherever you want your new ad placed, select size, shape, color scheme and click ok. You're done.

8. Page scheduling-Just create content and have it publish automatically when specified.

8. Making changes to pages-Open XsitePro, choose the appropriate page, go to design and make changes. When you are pleased with your changes bring up your page in preview to see how it will look online. Once you are satisfied with your changes, save them. When you are ready to publish, just click the publish button. You don't need an outside utility for uploading. And you don't need to hunt around for the right folder. XsitePro puts it where it belongs.

9. Changing the Entire look of a site-Just select another template, color, or page size and entire site-wide changes are made.

10. Add RSS feeds-from pre-loaded list or add your own and insert

11. Add Social Bookmark Buttons-easily and quickly.

12. Add forms in seconds-with the forms wizard.

13. Add Audio and Video-easily and quickly

14.  Documentation-XsitePro has the best documentation I have seen with any software. There is both a tutorial that walk you through making a simple website, and a manual.

15.  Forum-XsitePro has it's own forum where you can get specific questions answered. This is a very active forum, and can be a real help if you are new to building websites.

These are just some of my favorite features. XsitePro will also create popups, redirect pages, insert images, make tables and text boxes, change fonts and colors and much more.
