First get comfortable using ebay

The advertising and promotion aspects run much more smoothly when you have a narrowly defined market.

You do have to exercise care in not violating ebay guidelines, but think of ways to get these people on a mailing list, or get them to a website that features items in the same niche they have expressed interest in.
